Apple has expanded the coverage of its main services, including App Store, iCloud, Apple Podcasts and Apple Arcade, and announced the launch of these services in another 20 countries starting today. Apple also said on Tuesday that it will expand the Apple Music service to another 52 countries.

App Store, iCloud, Apple Podcasts, Apple Arcade and Apple Music are now available in the following countries and regions


  • Africa: Cameroon, Côte d’ Ivoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gabon, Libya, Morocco, Rwanda and Zambia.
  • Asia Pacific: Maldives and Myanmar.
  • Europe: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, Montenegro and Serbia.
  • Middle East: Afghanistan (excluding ‌Apple Music‌) and Iraq.
  • Oceania: Nauru (excluding ‌Apple Music‌), Tonga and Vanuatu.

Apple Music has also expanded to the following countries and regions


  • Africa: Algeria, Angola, Benin, Chad, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Namibia, Republic of Congo, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Tanzania and Tunisia
  • Asia Pacific: Bhutan.
  • Europe: Croatia, Iceland and Northern Macedonia.
  • Latin America and the Caribbean: Bahamas, Guyana, Jamaica, Montserrat, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Turks and Caicos and Uruguay.
  • Middle East: Kuwait, Qatar and Yemen.
  • Oceania: Solomon Islands.


With the decline in global smartphone shipments, Apple ’s expansion today reflects that, in addition to hardware, Apple is increasingly relying on services as the main source of income. In terms of revenue and profits, Apple created the best quarterly performance in history early this year, and CEO Tim Cook praised the company for setting a "historical record" in terms of services.
